Vintage Eltex electric hatcher / brooder
This is a wonderful vintage working hatcher for large batches of eggs.
It is 33 x 45 inches (85 x 115 cm) and 9 inches deep (23cm)
It is made of timber and metal, with a mesh floor and perspex lids, which needs replacing as they have been cracked. (there is likely plenty of spare perspex about from covid screens to replace this)
You place eggs in here as they are coming to hatch, and the chicks can stay in this for a wee while after, depending on your facilities, it is easy to add feed and water for them ..
